How To Be Saved?

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Jesus ( John 14:6). No one can get into Heaven with sin.   Jesus Christ died on the cross of wood so our sins can be redeemed through Him. He saved us from the punishment we all will receive on judgement day for our sins. If we are truly sorry (God knows our hearts) and ask God to forgive us and ask Him to come into our hearts to live, He will. Once you receive Jesus you will experience the love of His Holy Spirit which will guide you in your new way of living.

John Chapter 14 1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. 4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.  7. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9. Jesus saith unto him. Have I been so long time with you , and yet hast though not know me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father: and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10. Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall be do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15. If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. 17. Even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him: for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  18. I will not leave you comfortless. I will come to you. 19. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more: but ye see me; because I live, ye shall live also.  20. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  21. he that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me, and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  22. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou will manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words and my Father will love him and will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  24. He that loveth me not keepeth not; my sayings; and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.  25. These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.  26. but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.  27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  28. Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father for my Father is greater than I.  29. And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. 30. Hereafter I will not talk much with you; for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.  31. But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do, Arise, let us go hence.

1 John 4: 15 7. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 8. He that loveth not knoweth not God: for God is love. 9. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12. No man hath seen God at any time. if we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.  13. Herby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. 14. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.  15. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.  16. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.  17. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldnesss in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 19. We love him, because he first loved us.  20. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?  21. And this commandment have we from him. That we who loveth God love his brother also.

You can start by saying this prayer and learning the Lord's prayer ( Mathew Chapter 6: 9-13)

"Dear God, please heal my soul because I know that I am a sinner and have sinned against you. I believe You love me and want to save me. I believe Jesus is your Son who died on the cross to pay for my sins. I believe you raised Him from the dead.

I now turn from my life of sin and, by faith, receive You into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. Come into my heart, forgive my sins, and save me, Lord Jesus. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I pray, Amen"

Mathew Chapter 6 Take heed that ye do not your elms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know wha thy right hand doeth: 4. That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seethin secret himself shall reward thee openly. 5. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be they name. 10. They kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11. Give us this day our daily bread. 12. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your father forgive your trespasses. 16. Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. 17. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is secret; and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly. 19. Lay not up for yourselves, treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. 22. The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24. No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 25. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26. Behold the fowls of the air for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27. Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28. And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow, they toil not, neither do they spin: 29. And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall be not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31. Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32. (For after all these things do the Gentiles seekJ for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you. 34. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil therof.

What happens after we die?

If you believe there is good and bad, light and dark, peace and hate, then you will believe there is God and Satan. One day after your life is over, you will go somewhere. Where will that be? For me, I believe what the Bible says and that is that we will go into a "sleep" until judgement day. then, we go to either Heaven or Hell. The only way into Heaven is through Jesus because no one can enter into those pearly gates with sin. Having an up to date heart is very important. We must always be talking/praying to God, making sure our hearts are good with Him every moment of the day, so there is no separation.  What do you believe?

after death, sleep, judgement day, heaven, hell
